Policies

Cancellation Policy:

There are factors beyond our control that prevents us from being able to start or continue a checkride. Applicants may cancel or reschedule their checkride up to 2 business days before the scheduled start time. Cancellations with less than 2 business days notice will be subject to a 50% checkride fee. Once the check ride has begun, no refunds will be issued. However, if the check ride is discontinued (i.e weather /maintenance) after commencement, I will work with the applicant to reschedule at the earliest available date.In the event that an applicant must discontinue the checkride due to illness or any reason other than weather or mechanical, a recheck fee may apply for the completion of that checkride.

Travel Expenses:

For checkrides conducted outside the Portland metro area, the applicant or flight school is responsible for all travel expenses. Travel by car will be reimbursed at the current IRS standard mileage rate ($0.725 per mile). If air travel is required, the applicant or flight school is responsible for airfare, hotel accommodations, and rental car.

Payment:

Acceptable forms of payment are - Cash, Check, or Direct Deposit through your Flight School all payable to WINN LLC
